Rural area junction... Nice place for summer stoppage... Worst for winters... Hotels are much expensive... No electric board or charging points for mobile, Bluetooth, power banks, etc... Worse railway management for purwanchal Bihar... Drinking water or purified water from railways are not available...

Railway Junction with ok cleanliness and facilities. Need to be modernize & no wifi facilities is available on this Station. Trains are running for all the direction from this Station. Delhi,Mumbai,West Bengal all directions train you can get here . Situated in Railway ECR zone.

Station is good but very poor management of train time For Example you will never catch train for Supaul at 05:00 PM when you comming from patna from Rajya Rani Express There is very bad management for train time for traveling Supaul passenger

Saharsa junction is known for the lot of train stoppage It has total 5 platform..... U can find all types of trains running from this station .. All most all trains have stopage of 5 minutes Saharsa junction have retairing room facilities also.... U can fetch them by contacting Tet. The charges for dormatory is just 33 rupees and for double bed room.... it's only 163 rupees U can visit and ask for the rooms but better to book online....because of availability issue Room are not good enough... According to me... Room size is good and the quality of mattress is also fine Gyser was working fine but washroom was not clean enough but bathroom was clean Room is quite decent but need repairing

its quite average railway stations and be aware from thrift and frouds .. pocket cutters..and do not take any thing from unknown person.. it is happen with one of my relative. so keep watching and open ur eyes.. specially ..when you are travelling to purnia at 🌃 night time..

Lack of hygiene. The station is important for Koshi region. Passengers are coming from Supaul, Madhepura & Araria districts to take off trains for long distance.

Saharsa Junction railway station is a main railway station in Saharsa district, Bihar. Its code is SHC. It serves Saharsa city. The station consists of 5 platforms. It's A category railway station of Samastipur railway divisiondue to less railway facility,less expansion and meter gauge tracks in supaul & madhepura district people used to catch trains from Saharsa instead of their own stations . Saharsa Jn station is an important junction for Koshi zone. This station is very neat and clean and peaceful. You will be getting train to Amritsar, Delhi, Patna and all local locations like Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, Samastipur, Muzzafarpur, Mansi, Hajipur, Begusarai ,JayNagar.
